Gatherwise products emerge from over twenty years of learning and discovery by esthetician and herbalist, Melissa Fuller. With a deep reverence for plant medicine, she handcrafts each product, blending pure, potent ingredients that nourish and renew the skin.
Most botanicals are grown on the Gatherwise Farm, their vibrant leaves and petals carefully harvested at their peak, while others are mindfully foraged from the surrounding land. Melissa distills, renders, and combines each plant slowly and intentionally, ensuring the highest quality and fullest expression of their healing potential. This farm-to-bottle process allows Melissa to maintain complete control over every ingredient and method, ensuring that each product is as pure and effective as possible.

The Story
“Plants are natural healers, and uncovering their gifts for the skin is my superpower”
My journey began at 11 with a plaque psoriasis diagnosis that seemed incurable. Then, my aunt gifted me a book on herbalism, a revelation that the foods in our kitchen could heal our skin. That sparked my first experiments with homemade remedies.
Driven by this passion, I became a licensed esthetician and earned my CIDESCO certification in holistic healing. I deepened my study of herbalism to craft skincare that addressed common skin concerns, finding solutions in nature.
Gatherwise was born from this quest. When the herbs I ordered for my formulations arrived colourless, I realized I needed to grow my own. Today, I nurture most of our botanicals on my farm, ensuring that every ingredient is cared for from seed to harvest, preserving the purity and potency of these natural healers.
Rooted in nature’s slowness and healing power, I hope to inspire women to embrace the beauty that comes with every stage of life—and to find that beauty in natural, mindful skincare.
