Farm
Tucked into a misty hillside just outside Portland, Oregon, Gatherwise Farm is a living, breathing extension of our philosophy. Every bloom and leaf is thoughtfully cultivated to support deep, lasting skin wellness, beginning with the soil beneath our feet.
Gather
Melissa Fuller, our founder and herbalist, selects each plant with care, choosing those with natural gifts for nourishing the skin. She grows them organically and tends to them daily, ensuring they flourish in harmony with the land. When the moment is just right, she harvests each one at its peak—full of potency and purpose.
Community
The garden grew from the generosity of the community—plants and seeds passed down from friends and family, wild herbs reclaimed from the land itself, and seeds carefully chosen from small Oregon growers. Each one carries a thread of connection, rooted in local soil and shared intention.
Cultivate
The magic begins in the soil. Once a horse pasture, the land is now rich with life—nourished by local organic compost and natural amendments from the farm itself, including handmade fertilizer and crushed eggshells from our own chickens. Each layer adds nourishment, preparing the garden to grow with purpose.
Reap
Today, most of our plants are grown from the seeds of the previous year, continuing a cycle of renewal. 75% of all Gatherwise plants are harvested directly from our farm, and 80% thrive abundantly in the surrounding land.
