Heidi (yes, the one-of-a-kind badass Heidi Clements!) has been a Gatherwise fan for years. For those of you that don't know Heidi, she is a pro-aging advocate, a beautifully loud and forward thinking woman who's been breaking down the beauty industry standards! She's pushes the boundaries that have been wrapped around every women for no good reason - encouraging us all to be our authentic self and love our bodies and who we are to the fullest. And I just adore her! Heidi fell in love with the products for the same reasons so many of you have: quality ingredients, award-winning formulations, real hands behind the products, and skincare grown by the forest and made for healthy, balanced skin.
The first time Heidi shared Gatherwise, I just about fell over with excitement. She’s someone I truly admire and an icon to millions of women around the world. To see her not only using my products but also recognizing the work I’m doing here at Gatherwise meant more than I can put into words. It felt like someone was seeing the bigger picture of what I’ve been building all these years. We’re not here to follow the beauty industry’s rules or chase impossible standards. We’re here to embrace who we are, honor our changing skin and bodies, and feel good in ourselves at every age and stage of life.
Fast-forward to earlier this year, when Heidi reached out with an idea for a collaboration. Something simple, hardworking, and made for all skin types and ages. I said YES immediately...and GatherwiseR was created for the Unbothered Balm. A new yet just as wise version of Gatherwise, for women who are wiser, bolder, and mildly unbothered. Creating a product that challenges beauty standards alongside someone I admire so much? I started Gatherwise because I wanted a different kind of skincare. After years of struggling with my own reactive skin, I turned to the plants and began creating products rooted in herbalism, esthetics, and the belief that caring for your skin shouldn't feel like another thing you need to fix about yourself, but it should feel good.
I believe in healthy, hydrated, balanced skin. I believe in the power of plants and the beauty of simple, consistent rituals. And I believe we deserve to feel good in our skin at every age and stage of life, without being told we need to look younger to be beautiful.
